Hello Fellow Leisure and Entertainment Sellers!   As an FEC owner, we are now in the busiest time of year for our business, and the next few weeks will be quite the challenge to get through.   This made me wonder, how do other Leisure and Entertainment businesses manage the "swings" in a business that could be cyclical or seasonal.   Fortunately for me, I have several young team members that start with me in high school and invariably go away to college, but will come back and work over the holiday season to help me get through this "swing".  On the flip side, I have been fortunate enough to have some staff members take "summer jobs" when things slow down here some, but then return back in the fall.   How do you get by with swings in your business?  Do you hire temporary help?  Family members just in?   Semi-retired staff members come back?      The community would love to hear your thoughts on how you deal with this, as it may inspire others to do the same so please share your thoughts here. ... I'm curious if there is anyone here who uses their square store for regular ticket sales? I've run a small comedy theater for 10 years and we've always used Eventbrite for tickets and Square for classes (since they are much smaller in volume and regularity).   I'm curious if anyone has ever used Eventbrite for multiple weekly events with a limited capacity. Hello,   I am a new Square user. I am an accountant and have a question about the deposits our clients make, and when that deposit is transmitted to our bank account.   We have an invoice #1934 - 491 in the amount of $4025 for Robert L who made the deposit on 11/04/24 for $1000, and then the balance of $3025 on 01/04/25.   I checked the transaction reports for these dates, and only see his payment of $4025 listed on 01/04, and nothing for him on 11/04.   Do the "deposits" get transmitted to our banks at the time, or on the date, they initiate the payment in Square? Hello fellow musician entertainers! 👋   If you were stranded on a desert island, what would be the 5 pieces of gear you couldn’t live without? For the sake of this discussion, let’s assume this is a magic island and has power outlets in palm trees.   For me, it would have to be these:   Kemper profiler amp. I love tube amps as much as the next guitarist, but this gives me so many options in one device. It really upped my recording game. With built in effects I can also leave separate pedals off-island. Gibson Les Paul #1: 1995 standard that I added three-way splitting on the bridge pickup and a humbucker-sized p90 in the neck. Gibson Les Paul #2: Demo shop model that has firebird pickups. Gibson Midtown Custom: 2010s model for semi-hollow sounds. Gretsch Rancher 12-string acoustic.   This was surprisingly tough to narrow down! My favorite Les Paul is still my 2007 standard in desert burst, but I opted for these because of the tonal options. 🤘🤠🤘   ... View more
